Easy life. You wake up, you go someplace, you do simple work, you go back, you have some fun, you go to sleep. Who can really say their life is hard? Especially of all the people that can read this article.
I suppose everyone at least once thought about how nice it is to live in the era of proper technological advancement, for example when outside is dangerously cold, hot, windy or there are wolves or something. How nice is it to have a roof, 4 walls, concrete, mutli-layer windows, means of communication to anywhere else that a person has ever been, ridiculously high buildings, water delivered to you, artificial light…
Life just is easy.
But if it is so easy, why are people still feeling shit? We all know about psychological problems, most of us personally, at least in some weaker form. It is almost as if feeling shit was something a human race could not ever get rid of. A historical constant. People, from prehistorical times, felt, feel and will feel shit.
And no one can do anything about it.
Just because someone thought, that them being cold is the reason for how they feel, they found fire, and this way started a chain reaction of which current civilization is a byproduct. You could say, that if human race never felt shit, trees would be our homes, if we were not extinct.
And if that was the case, I would argue we would be better off.
